Abstract:
The patient – therapist relationship is always unique, depending on both
personalities – the patient's and the therapist's one. Therefore the rules
of therapeutic interventions are strict and rigid – they should provide
some objective frames for the therapy. In this article I present
psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy, where I overcame the rigidness of
psychotherapeutic interventions. When faced with profound pathology of
personality structure, especially at ego- and self-pathology, it is
sometimes advisable to transgress the therapeutic boundaries in favour of
more active process of healing developmental deficits
